Charly Inker Brush delay – How do I fix it?
Noticed your Charly Inker brush takes a moment to get going, like it needs a little nudge before it starts drawing? Don’t worry, here’s a quick guide to get things flowing smoothly again.
1. Re-download and re-import the brush
Every now and then, a brush file might not install quite right on the first go. A simple fix is to delete the brush from Procreate, then re-download and re-import the original file. It often does the trick!

2. Check your Apple Pencil version
This brush was designed with pressure sensitivity in mind, so if you’re using the USB-C Apple Pencil (which doesn’t support pressure), that might explain why this is happening.
If you have access to a pressure-sensitive Apple Pencil (1st, 2nd gen and Pro version), give it a try, you’ll likely notice a big difference in how the brush behaves!
3. Try this settings tweak for USB-C users
If you’re using the USB-C pencil (the non-pressure one), there’s a handy little tweak you can make in Procreate that might improve things:
